Studio Terms & Conditions

The studio can be used for photography and videography sessions, content creation, small events and working.

You and anyone in your party are strictly forbidden to shoot anything that is violent, racist, discriminatory, harassing, pornography, or other content deemed inappropriate by Akali Studio due to race, sex, disability, age, inequity or other of a similar nature. Boudoir photoshoots or shoots of a risque nature are acceptable.

Studio Usage

Studio Time

Please do not arrive before your scheduled time. Your booking time ends when you fully exit the studio, so please account for time required to set up and/or clean up when booking. Overtime fees will apply.

The studio is typically booked back-to-back, so please call or text if you need extra time on the day of your booking. We will try to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee the availability of extra time.

Overtime fees are billed at $60 + hst per 15 minutes.

Unauthorized access to off-limit rooms will incur a minimum fine of $100+HST.

Unapproved overtime will result in an additional fine of $300

The studio must be returned to its original state before your end time.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund will be given for cancellations within 24 hours of booking confirmation.

Full amount will be refunded as studio credit for cancellations up to 48 hours prior to check-in. Studio credits will expire within 3 months of original booking date.

An additional fee of 50% of original payment will be charged for reschedules within 7 days to check-in.

No refund or reschedule will be offered for cancellations within 48 hours prior to check-in.

Damages

Accidents happen but please try your best to be gentle with the items in the studio. If you or anyone in your party cause any form of damage to property (including but not limited to, breaking, staining, and ripping), your card on file will be charged for the repair or full replacement of the item at the discretion of the owner. Photos of the damage will be provided.

Any damage to studio equipment or props will incur a fine to cover cost of the damage.

  • Please remove your shoes if you need to step on the furniture.

  • Indoor shoes or shoe covers should be worn in the studio.

  • Please refrain from bringing any confetti, fake snow, feathers, sand, or similar props into the studio space. A minimum cleaning fee of $200+HST may be applied if studio is not returned to original state.
